WorkplaceSIM designs and develops unique mobile apps and computer ‘Game-based learning’ resources for your specific workplace environment – primarily for Health, Safety, and Environment training and induction. This form of technology uses behavioural psychology to create effective and engaging training – leading to positive behaviour change and positive workplace culture change.
Story telling has proven to be a powerful teaching methodology and is integral to WorkplaceSIM. Users follow the experiences of ‘a day in the life of’ a worker – where they can make important decisions in a safe environment. All modules support existing teaching materials, processes, SoP’s, Best Practice Guidelines, Industry Codes of Practice, and Compliance.
Research shows that interactive 3D Simulations deliver greater engagement, skill retention, and worker confidence than traditional forms of teaching. The psychology of simulation and game-based learning means it appeals to those with poor literacy and/or with English as a second language. The format makes this teaching method easily accessible, encourages sharing, and sparks workplace conversations
